TERMINOLOGY

Ambassador: Leader of a Magus coven.
Amoveo Aqua: Translating as "shifter water" in Latin. The Amoveo Aqua (known familiarly as "Amaqua") have light coloured hair, blonde, brown or red most of the time, and clear blue, green, or grey eyes. At will they can change into a specific creature, like a dolphin or angelfish.
Amoveo Caelum: Means "shifter sky" in Latin. These Amoveo Caelum (known commonly as "Caelum") are very unique, meaning that they can turn into birds at will. All the girls have blonde hair, and all the males have darker hair. They all have clear blue-grey eyes.
Amoveo Terra: Translating loosely as "shifter land" in Latin. Their hair is the colour of the pelt of the animal they can morph into, and their eyes are either brown-grey, amber, hazel, or tawny.
Angeli: Meaning "angels" in Latin. They possess healing powers, as well as the powers to become invisible, clairvoyancy, dream-walking, shadow-taming, and flight. They are most often female, and have either blonde or seemingly-dyed black hair, rarely brown. Their eyes are either light blue or light green, and they usually have pale skin. They are born knowing one word/name, and they use that as their name. When in reality, they adopt a different alias, usually a variation on their name, and use that commonly. One can only control an Angel if she/he gives them their true name.
Apprentice: A student in one of the Magus covens.
Beta: The name for the second-in-command in a werewolf pack.
Capital: Second-in-command in a Daemonium Larua coven.
Captain: Leader of a Amoveo Aqua alliance.
Changed: Pronounced "change-ed". Meaning someone who was not born a werewolf or a vampyre, but was changed later on in their life.
Chieftain: Leader of a Amoveo Terra alliance.
Cold Ones: One of the more subtle nicknames for a vampyre. Often shortened to a "C.O." or saying something like "They're Cold," in conversation.
Counselor: Leader of a Cruorem coven.
Council: The name given to the group leaders of each alliance, who meet once a year, on Hallow's Eve.
Coven: The surname of all vampyre and magyk alliances. Preceded by the name of the alliance itself.
Cruorem: Literally meaning "the blood of" in Latin. The Cruorem are vampyres, meaning the old-fashioned Bram Stoker ones. Stakes through the heart, Holy Water, wooden bullets, daylight... All these things work efficiently to kill a vampyre. They always have medium-toned hair (most commonly ginger or red), pale skin, and light grey eyes. They can't dye their hair, dye doesn't stick to vampyre hair. The Cruor, Flamma, and Ardeo families are all very high in vampyre society, and respected greatly by every other family. When you are a vampyre, your name is everything.
Daemonium Larua: Literally means "devil wraith" in Latin. The only completely female alliance. They have either very light-blonde or blonde hair,
and have extremely light blue eyes. They're thin and look like they could just blow away. They don't have ages, they simply exist or do not exist.
Divine: Leader of a Daemonium Larua coven.
Elder: One of the senior members of the Council.
Erant Bestia: hey're weakened only by silver, and can only transform at the full moon. During that time, they're somebody completely different in their wolf state. They all have tanned or dark skin, dark hair, and hazel, amber, or tawny eyes. Also, werewolves are always larger, taller, and stockier than the other wolves. They're most commonly born, as the process of Changing a mortal into a wolf is much nastier and more painful than that of Changing a mortal into a vampire. They are not generally thought to be harmed by religious artifacts such as crucifixes and holy water. In many countries, rye and mistletoe are considered effective safeguards against werewolf attacks.

Healer: Term given for the healer or spiritual connection in an Erant Bestia pack.
Hero: A warrior or fighter in one of the Amoveo alliances.
Huntress: A warrior or fighter in one of the Daemonium Larua covens.
Knight: A warrior or fighter in one of the Cruorem covens.
Legate: Second-in-command in a Amoveo Terra alliance.
Lieutenant: Second-in-command in a Cruorem coven.
Luminary: Leader of a Amoveo Caelum alliance.
Magus: Meaning "a magician" in Latin. The supernaturals that practice magyk. They are usually tanned or dark-skinned, and never have blond or ginger hair.
Major: Second-in-command in a Magus coven.
Mender: Term given for the healer or spiritual connection in an Amoveo Aqua alliance.
Mortal: A non-specter.
Original: The Originals are those who have originated from the original tales of the supernaturals. They have seen how the world has changed, and tend to have a great deal of information. Most Originals tend to belong to great families and strong alliances, perhaps even being the leader of those alliances. They know what has worked in the past, and has seen time and again what hasn’t.
Priest: Term given for the healer or spiritual connection in an Amoveo Terra alliance.
Priestess: The most deadly member of a Daemonium Larua coven. They are the direct connection with Satan.
Professor: Term given for the healer or spiritual connection in a Cruorem coven.
Rebel: A warrior or fighter in one of the Magus covens.
Scholar: A student in one of the Daemonium Larua covens.
Shaman: Term given for the healer or spiritual connection in a Magus coven.
Specter: A name for someone belonging to a supernatural species.
Student: A student in one of the Amoveo alliances.
Tributary: An unranked member of any of the species.
Warlock: A male member of the Magus species.
Warrior: A warrior or fighter in one of the Erant Bestia packs.
Witch: A female member of the Magus species.
Witchdoctor: Term given for the healer or spiritual connection in a Daemonium Larua coven.
Wizard: A witch or warlock that turns to practicing dark magyk and blood magyk.
